At Lady Links we like to have fun! Remember to be curtious of your fellow players.
Pairings In general, you will be placed in a pairing or group of four players, based upon when you reserved your spot. The first four responders make up the first group, and so on. If you wish to play with a specific golfer, or to reserve a specific foursome, you may RSVP for any or all of them. *Please make foursome reservations with firm commitments from all players. Lady Links Courtesies Skill Levels – As mentioned, ours is a game of fun. Members of all skill levels are welcomed and, indeed, the group includes all handicaps of players. We do not, however, keep a handicapping system, nor do we pair players according to skill. Instead we recognize that everyone begins the game at some time, and hope to provide support and encouragement to all players as they develop their individual games. Slow play No matter what skill level a member may possess, and no matter how diligently one may be working on improving their play, slow play will not be tolerated. Keep the game moving. For example, no one wants to wait through half a dozen practice swings and endless aiming, lining up, checking stances, grips, etc. on each shot. Likewise, it doesn’t matter how many strokes it takes to get from tee to green and in the hole, just keep moving forward. Be aware of groups ahead and behind you, and pace your play. It makes for an enjoyable round. (TIPS: Mark your scorecards at the upcoming tee box, always pick up your ball if you’re going to shoot one over double par) Civility Again, we play the game for fun. There’s no place in our events for lost tempers and associated words or actions. We ask that there be no swearing, club throwing, or other obnoxious behavior. Think positive! Etiquette Just a few things to mention here: Please show up 20-25 minutes prior to your tee time. Please keep your voices low around the tee box area as players are concentrating on their big hits. Shirts with collars are encouraged. Try not to walk across the line of a player on the putting green. Stay positive and have a good time! RSVP's & Cancellations To rsvp, either reply to the email notifications or call the telephone number provided to add your name to your group. You will be given a group number before the event. If you rsvp and then cannot make the event, just provide a 24 hour courtesy notice. (If you rsvp then “No Show” for any event, you must pay that green fee plus a $25 "no show" fee. (Exception: An Emergency) A golfer may return to the group after paying all delinquent fees. Many times we sign written non-refundable contracts with the Golf Courses insuring a certain number of tee times per event. Tee Times & Group Pairing Confirmations You will be emailed your group pairing and tee times 3-5 days before the event. |
